Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing fabrication shop facility and personnel
- Understand the technical deliverable through reading and interpretation of engineering schematics and related documentation
- Manage project fabrication budget and deliverables
- Understand project scope, budget, contract, goals and deliverables related to fabrication
- Participate in internal project kick-off meetings
- Assign lead techs to be in charge of fabrication efforts
- Identify project fabrication tasks
- Assign tasks to technicians (shop and the field)
- Coordinate and schedule personnel to meet project milestones
- Monitor the procurement process and assist in procurement when necessary
- Identify resource requirements, request personnel, and interview applicants
- Manage, monitor and procure shop supplies
- Evaluate technician skills and recommend or perform training as required
- Inspect and monitor work and processes
- Assist with commissioning and testing efforts
- Ensure that shop is kept clean and organized
- Participate in project Post Mortem meetings
- Ensure that proper tools, connectors, and cable are being used appropriately for different applications and ensure that fabrication standards are met
- Travel to EU job sites when needed

Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
- Management experience in a Fabrication Customer Service environment is required
- Minimum 5-6 years Fabrication experience preferred (i.e., assembly, wiring, testing, and delivery of Audio/Video/Control equipment racks)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Brady Label software
- Demonstrated experience utilizing fabrication service with Audio Visual systems in environments such as entertainment, corporate, hospitality, government, education and retail
