WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

  • Standards & Best Practices: Ensure implementation of ASCM-aligned Supply Chain methods.
    You ensure all European markets adopt and maintain best practices aligned with ASCM standards. You monitor compliance and reinforce consistency. You support sustainable process execution across the region.
  • Warehouse Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and drive corrective actions.
    You assess inefficiencies across multiple warehouses and oversee countermeasure implementation. You track progress and ensure corrective actions are effective. You help embed continuous improvement into daily operations.
  • Network Optimization: Lead European Supply Chain network assessments and execution.
    You lead optimization assessments for the European Supply Chain network. You implement improvements across transportation flows, warehouse interactions, and 3PL activity. You ensure the network supports operational and cost-efficiency goals.
  • Transportation & Vendor Management: Select and diversify transportation partners.
    You ensure correct transport vendor selection to meet service and cost targets. You diversify the carrier portfolio, analyze shipping data, run bids, and onboard final-mile partners. You implement SLAs, re-qualify vendors, and expand capacity with new qualified providers.
  • Process Governance: Develop, optimize, and enforce SOPs, KPIs, and compliance.
    You oversee the creation and optimization of Logistics, Warehousing, and Inventory SOPs and policies. You establish KPIs to measure warehouse performance. You document required changes, track compliance, and ensure actions are completed.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Support leadership, warehouses, procurement, and sales.
    You support the VP, Global Supply Chain on Europe-related process changes. You advise warehouse leaders, collaborate with Procurement, and assist Sales with complex project estimates. You maintain DIFOT levels and produce reports as needed.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Formal Education and Professional Certificates: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Adequate working experience in logistics or a related field. ASCM (CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, CTSC) or similar professional certificates + Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are advantages.
  • Industry Background and Team Management: Extensive leadership experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, including asset-based and outsourced transportation. Min. 3 years leadership experience in leading teams with multiple management layers in an international environment.
  • Strategic & Tactical Agility: Ability to pivot between high-level planning and hands-on execution. As well as ability to work independently and engage stakeholders internally and externally. Strong data entry and organizational skills.
  • Efficiency & Effectiveness Measures: Demonstrated experience using analytics to define countermeasures and implement them across locations. Clear communication skills, strong organization, data accuracy, and customer-service orientation.
  • Transformation Execution and Flexibility: Experience in leading complex operational transformation programs. Ability to travel to offices and warehouses in Europe.
