Long Description

Primarily responsible for establishing and leading the UCC Business Unit within the company, focused on driving new business opportunities across Europe. This role includes strategic development, market compliance, and relationship management with industry partners and clients in the UCC sector. The objective is to develop assigned accounts, expand market presence, and enhance business growth in Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) solutions.

 

· Own and drive the development of the UCC Business Unit, focusing on UCC opportunities across Europe.

· Establish and maintain expertise in UCC market requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and managing certification and industry standards.

· Lead business development strategies to identify, pursue, and secure UCC-focused contracts, including building relationships with key UCC clients and industry stakeholders.

· Develop and lead a dedicated team to support UCC projects, ensuring alignment with sector-specific needs and growth objectives.

· Serve as the subject matter expert in UCC sector operations, providing guidance and insight into market trends, technological advancements, and strategic opportunities.

· Manage alliance and partnership initiatives between the company and relevant UCC providers to strengthen the company’s position in the market.

· Ensure full sales updates, forecasting, pipeline reporting, and business analysis specific to the UCC sector, facilitating executive reporting and strategic planning.

· Establish professional relationships with all key client sales and marketing personnel within the UCC domain.

· Provide regular reports and insights on UCC market development to support strategic decision-making.

Skills and Abilities

 

· Ability to utilize local market strategy in accordance with company direction

· Strong understanding of UCC technologies and industry standards, including compliance and security requirements.

· Demonstrated strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills, particularly in the UCC market context.

· Ability to negotiate and manage complex UCC contracts and maintain constructive relationships with clients and partners.

· Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, manage, and develop a team focused on UCC business objectives.

· Exceptional communication skills to represent the company effectively within the UCC sector.

· Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency with CRM and UCC-specific sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce).

· Strong analytical skills for business analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning in the UCC sector.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

· Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills

 

 

Education and/or Experience

 

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or related field required (MBA or Master’s Degree is preferred)

· Minimum 4 – 6 years’ of professional business development experience preferably in the Audio Visual, Construction or Unified Communications industry

· Experience in Unified Communications/Audiovisual preferred

· Quoting experience in the AV/Video Conferencing market a plus

· Experience with sales operations reporting is required. Salesforce.com knowledge is preferred.

· Demonstrated experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives

· Experience operating in a multi-state and/or complex matrix business environment is desirable
